Yes - Dogs must attend and pass a behavioural assessment (trial session) to ensure they have a good and friendly nature towards humans and other dogs.
The assessment must be completed before attending day care and can be booked via the Customer Pawtal (once registered).
All dogs interact differently and a result, we insist that all new dogs attend a trial session/evaluation to ensure day care is right for your them.
Day care is pack mentality, it's important that all dogs are able to play well together. Unfortunately, not all dogs are suited to day care and not all day cares will be suitable for every dog.
After a trial session/evaluation has been completed, we will discuss our observations and make a recommendations that we feel are appropriate (for example half day sessions initially etc).
We do not accept un-neutered male dogs over the age of 12 months.
Younger male dogs that develop inappropriate hormonal behaviour before they reach 9 months may also be suspended from day care.
Bitches who come into season will not be able to attend for the duration of the season, usually 2-3 weeks.
Day care works best of your dog attends on a regular basis.
We request that your dog attends day care at least twice a month to maintain their place (obviously we will make allowances for holidays and emergency situations).
A trial session will need to be completed if your dog hasn't attended day care for 2 months or more - this ensure that they are still suited to day care.

We are open 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday. All dogs must be dropped off before 11.00am whether on full or half days.
We are unable to accept dogs before 7.00am and collections after 6pm will incur additional fees.
We strongly recommend that owners have pet insurance for their dogs and that they check that the policy covers day care attendance.
All dogs attending day care must have an up-to-date vaccination certificate. Standard vaccinations and boosters given by your vet will cover your dog for:
- Leptospirosis
- Hepatitis
- Parvovirus
- Distemper
We recommend that your dog is vaccinated against kennel cough but this is not a mandatory requirement.
However, if vaccinating against kennel cough, please ask your vet about quarantining your dog as it is a live virus.
We only accet puppies aged 14 weeks or over into day care.
